As a fiber artist and painter, I am fascinated with abstraction and designing patterns. Inspiration derives from the simplicity, beauty and structural elements of natural formations, reflections and microscopic details. I combine thick paint texture, paper collage and fiber into my work and explore concepts of scale, space and perspective. I fiber infuse nylon thread by hand stitching directly into the canvas. The thread fiber adds energy and a sense of permanency & reinforcement.
