Description:
My art work is filled with narrative content and bright colors that convey a sense of seriousness, play, and a joy-filled dialogue. I start by sketching and applying thin layers of acrylic paint with gel media onto a 2-D surface. The composition builds by pushing and pulling light's and dark's of the various color mixtures. I work intuitively while conversing with the elements and of principles design. The narrative content draws upon my life's experience and daily connections with inner and outer worlds. Also, coffee, doughnuts and great music keeps the creative momentum going.
