I specialize in wood furniture, made to last for generations through the use of time honored joinery techniques and thoughtful design. I am, if anything, a materials person and I go to great pains to select only the finest boards in an ever-growing array of domestic species. By combining multiple varieties of lumber, with the eye of a painter, I create a sense of movement and interest within the piece rather than simply with its form. I find there is no better aesthetic satisfaction than to gaze upon a solidly built piece made from quality natural materials, and my work reflects this sentiment.
