Description:
I only use naturally shed moose, deer, elk, reindeer and caribou antlers. I gather by permit, cedar bark and wild cherry bark using traditional native american techniques. The bark must be gathered when the sap is rising and only the inner cambium layer is used. I also use date stems, sweetgrass and yellow cedar bark. Traditional and contemporary ribbed weaving methods are used in my baskets. I combine the antlers and natural materials to reflect the natural grace of the antlers.
