Description:
I take six to eight layers of used plastic bags and fuse them together with a heat press. I design each panel of this fabric with a collage-like technique. The panels are then trimmed and sewn together to make large pieces of this strong, colorful plastic fabric. I cut out each product pattern piece using clear templates and a rotary cutter. The pieces are then sewn together with locking seams to create unique products, from purses to belts, totes to couture fashion pieces.
