Description:
My work is created through the flameworking process which uses a specialized burner to heat and melt the glass. By using a burner I can achieve much control and detail than traditional glassblowing. I use borosilicate glass which is blown and sculpted. I then use various cold-working processes such as carving and sandblasting to add finishes and textures. My work is inspired by the natural world with its amazing colors and endless patterns, my experiences, and my thoughts and dreams.
