Description:
Each piece is initially cut from copper sheet & once I have decided on a pattern holes are drilled. Then the piece is formed & enamel multiple times on front & back. I then create a sterling setting for each piece & oxidize the settings to achieve a gray/black background for the enameled pieces. Once this is completed I use silk thread & stitch the enamel pieces. Once stitched, the pieces are set in the silver settings using small tabs to hold the piece in place. Each piece is completed hand fabricated from start to finish, including the chain & clasp or earwires.
