My images are staged in front of the camera, using 1/87 scale figures. I do NOT digitally manipulate the images. Shot in 35mm or full frame digital. Fuji crystal Archive light-jet c-prints, supervised by me in a private lab.
I draw on my experience as a theatrical lighting designer and stage director to create dramatic, enigmatic scenes, rich with visual puns. I get a thrill thinking that perhaps my pictures encouraged someone to see things a little differently and a little more joyfully.
