Description:
All of my work is one of a kind. I do not use patterns nor do I draw out plans. I get ideas and make them. I use sustainably forested domestic hardwoods with character such as birdseye maple, tiger maple, cherry, walnut and birch. I obtain color contrast by laminating these different woods together and then sanding and finishing them smooth. I do not use any stains or dyes so all the different colors are the natural woods. I apply 2-3 coats of moisture resistant clear lacquer to protect the pieces.
